Sept. 23, 2016 First Round Results 
OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Western Washington University men's golf team is in 10th place after the first round of the Saint Martin's University Invitational played Friday at Olympia Golf & Country Club.
The tournament has been shortened from three rounds (54 holes) to two rounds (36 holes) due to inclement weather. The 18-team field will complete tournament play tomorrow with the final 18 holes starting at 10 am.
WWU carded a 26-over-par 310 during the first round of the tournament on the par 71, 6,300-yard layout.
Freshman Ezra Arneson (Lynden, WA) shot the low round for the Vikings carding a 4-over-par 75 in his first collegiate round. Arneson is tied for 20th place in the 96-player field heading into tomorrow's final round.
