Aug. 18, 2017 BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Current and prospective season ticket holders for Western Washington University Athletics are invited to preview the newly-renovated Carver Gymnasium at a special event on Wednesday, August 23 from 4:30-6 pm.
If you have been considering supporting your favorite Viking teams, come and check out the newly renovated facility and learn more about ways to support Viking student-athletes. The two-year renovation of the historic on-campus facility was recently renovated and now boasts a state-of-the-art home for all 15 of WWU's varsity sport programs.
Coaches and WWU student-athletes will offer tours of the facility, with highlights on the athletics side of the Carver renovation including a fully branded court that will be called WECU Court at Carver Gym, a state-of-the-art Parberry Fitness Center, an academic skills lab, team rooms for men's and women's basketball and volleyball and individual lockers for all student-athletes.
In order to ensure that we have enough refreshments on August 23, we ask that you reserve your space by emailing athleticsdept@wwu.edu by Friday, August 18th. For your convenience, athletics has suspended parking in the regular season-ticket holder parking lot (17G) starting at 4 pm through the entire duration of the event. Information regarding Viking season tickets can be found by visiting bit.ly/VikingSeasonPass. Season tickets are currently on sale online, with alumni association members eligible for a 20% discount if they are first-time season ticket holders. WWU faculty and staff are also eligible for a 20% discount on season tickets. Here are the details of Wednesday's event at Carver:
