WWU Athlete of the Year (1955 & 1957), first two-time selection and only one until 1990
Lettered three years in football, basketball and baseball
Three-time All-Evergreen Conference choice as outfielder in baseball, once as a defensive back in football and honorable mention choice as guard in basketball
After receiving bachelor's degree in education from Western in 1957, coached and taught at Sequim, Ferndale and Sehome (Bellingham) high schools. Received master's degree at WWU in 1968.
Randall's 1963 Ferndale High football team finished 9-1, upsetting Bellingham in the season finale after the game was delayed a week because of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Earmed degree in administration from Washington State University and performed those duties at the Bellingham, East Wenatchee and Tumwater school districts.
Navy veteran, serving from 1950-54. Also was a player/coach for the Bellingham Bells semi-pro baseball team in the 1960s.
