Twice won Chuckanut Foot Race
Competed at U.S. Olympic Trials in 1968
Won Evergreen Conference two mile as freshman
NAIA District 1 three-mile champion as sophomore
Set school record in three mile as junior
Placed third at Evco Cross Country Championship as senior
Taught and coached at Mount Baker High School for 28 years, winning eight state championships
