At beginning of October 2024 earned dual match victory No.1000 (146 losses) with an 87.2 winning percentage as high school tennis coach at Sehome and Bellingham High Schools, having coached 77 seasons (47 boys and 30 girls).
His teams have won 39 league titles, 26 district championships and made 27 state tournament placings (top 8), including BHS teams that captured a girls state title in 2017 and a boys state title in 2019. Has also had five girls' doubles teams win state championships.
